In Brisbane, Australia, in September 2016, Gadecki made her ITF Circuit debut in the main draw. Gadecki advanced to the second round of the Australian Open qualifying in January 2021. She received a wildcard for the Gippsland Trophy, where she competed in the main draw for the first time on the WTA Tour.
